Our guest speaker is Justin Summers, a VT grad and Blacksburg resident who works as an Environmental Scientist for the Army Corps of Engineers. More to the point, he is a long-time volunteer with the Blacksburg Refugee Partnership and chairman of the newly-founded Sequoia Housing Partnership, a non-profit seeking to “provide an avenue to home ownership for displaced families in the Blacksburg Area.” He’s also completed coursework at John Leland Center for Theological Studies.
