Developed by the First UU Church in Richmond, VA, this workshop is designed for congregants to explore together the powerful commitment we can bring to ending racism. In a safe and stimulating environment, attendees will have an opportunity to share conflicting feelings and ideas about racism, build self and communal understanding of its insidious nature, acquire strategies, simple and profound, and develop the confidence and wisdom to take forward into our lives strong anti-racism actions, one impassioned person at a time. The first session of this 2-day workshop was held on May 19.
