The updated topic, based on an exciting citizen science project opportunity coming soon, is “Wildlife Cameras on the Blue Ridge Parkway.” The project involves setting up and monitoring wildlife camera traps on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Roanoke area. Together we’ll watch a 40-minute presentation by NPS wildlife biologist, Tom Davis, showing photos and videos of wildlife from past projects along the Parkway. We’ll spend the last 15 minutes seeing if there’s any interest in participating as individuals or as a group.
