Middle School
Middle School Youth Group (MSYG)
Middle School Youth Group (MSYG) is open to youth in grades 6-8. MSYG is the social complement to our Middle School Religious Education classes. The emphasis is on fun, with social activities and social action projects that encourage bonding among participants. Guidance is provided by background-checked adult volunteers.
Meetings are typically held once a month on Friday evenings, though the time subject to change, based on activities planned. Participants must be registered.
Coming of Age
Coming of Age is a special program that pairs 8th/9th grade youth with an adult mentor in the Congregation, to prepare for the transition from childhood to adulthood. This program emphasizes self-awareness and confidence-building, as well as service to our Congregation and to the community. It culminates in an affirmation ceremony and in the writing of personal credos. Offered in alternate years, with 8/9 OWL. Register here.
8-9 OWL
Our Whole Lives sexuality education is offered to 8th and 9th graders in alternate years, with Coming of Age. Next offered in Fall 2025. Learn more about the OWL program here.
