Love at the Center: Accessibility & Inclusion

One in every five Americans is a person with a disability. At this year’s General Assembly, Unitarian Universalists voted to put love at the center of our shared values. How does the “spiritual discipline of Love” call us to examine ableism, accessibility, and inclusion in our own lives?

Kirstin (pronounced key-EARS-tin) Fritz is a ministerial intern at First UU of Richmond. She has been a part-time Meadville Lombard Theological School student since the fall of 2020 and will graduate in May 2025. Before starting her internship last fall, she spent twenty years in nonprofit marketing and fundraising. Kirstin was raised Southern Baptist and found her spiritual home in Unitarian Universalism at the First UU Church of Nashville in 2004. She has been a member of the UU Congregation of Charlottesville since 2007.
