 or\,&nbsp\;Clean Slate:&nbsp\;During the latter half of September\, Jews o
 bserved the High Holy Days including Yom Kippur\, the Day of Atonement. It
  is a period of introspection and reflection and asking for forgiveness. I
 t is an important spiritual practice and one that is done in community.&nb
 sp\;This Sunday\, we will explore the themes of Yom Kippur and its power.&
 nbsp\;UUC’s Choir will sing at the service.\n\nNicole is the Schulman Pr
 ofessor of UU History at Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago a
 nd a UU minister. She has served congregations in OH and NJ. Nicole has a 
 Doctor of Ministry\, and a Ph.D. in American Religious History from Prince
 ton Theological Seminary. Her book\,&nbsp\;Wanamaker’s Temple: Business 
 and Religion in the Wanamaker Department Store\, is forthcoming from NYU P
 ress in 2018.
